Major Gift: Your gift of $1,000 or more ensures that people’s rights will not be violated and they will continue to achieve their dream of living in their own home with support.

Partnership Gift: Your gift of $500 to $999 ensures that people supported by the agency will live in the community with dignity. Your support provides people supported by Community Vision the stability they need to work, volunteer and actively participate in their community.

Sustaining Gift: Your gift of $10 -$499 helps provide “luxuries” items like cookware, a new winter coat and home accessibility equipment to assist people to live more independently. These are items that their budgets just can’t pay for.

Endowment Fund: Your planned gift to Community Vision’s endowment fund will provide financial stability into the future.

Special Event Involvement:
Community Vision takes great pride in our community fundraising events. There are many ways to get involved in our events, from being a golfer or a cyclist to becoming a sponsor. Check out our “Events” page for more information.

United Way: You can designate your gift to United Way to Community Vision.

Planned Giving: Act Today and Give Forever

Many people may not be aware that by making bequests to Community Vision Inc., they can leave a legacy to Oregonians with Developmental disabilities and benefit themselves in terms of taxes.

In addition to preparing a will and leaving a bequest, donors can simply name CVI as beneficiary of a pension plan, IRA or Life insurance policy. Or donors can give stocks, bonds, certificates of deposit, real estate, vehicles or art. Every life is remembered through legacy giving.

To ensure your gift reverts directly to Community Vision, we suggest the following wording in your Will or Trust Document:

“I devise to (or upon Dissolution of this Trust) (or make as Beneficiary) Community Vision, Inc., an Oregon Nonprofit Corporation, tax id Number 20-1288169, the sum of $_____ (or the _____% of the estate) (or all the rest, residue and remainder of my Estate or Trust) to be used for carrying out its mission."
